Welcome to Dorm Pool (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dorm Pool website, mobile app, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using Dorm Pool, you agree to these Terms.


1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Dorm Pool.
  • By using Dorm Pool, you represent that you are a college student or otherwise eligible to participate in student ride-sharing.

2. Your Account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You agree not to share false information, impersonate others, or create fake accounts.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Payments

  • Payments between riders are processed securely through Stripe.
  • Dorm Pool does not store full credit card numbers.
  • Dorm Pool is not responsible for refunds, chargebacks, or disputes related to payments. Any payment issues must be handled through Stripe.

4. Platform Disclaimer

  • Dorm Pool is a platform only. We do not provide transportation services and are not responsible for the actions of drivers or riders.
  • Riders and drivers are solely responsible for their conduct, compliance with laws, and the safety of their rides.
  • Dorm Pool is not liable for accidents, injuries, damages, or disputes that occur during or as a result of ride-sharing.

5. User Conduct

When using Dorm Pool, you agree not to:

  • Engage in harassment, abuse, or unsafe behavior.
  • Use the Service for illegal or fraudulent purposes.
  • Share accounts or attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse the Service.

6. Privacy

Your use of Dorm Pool is also governed by our Privacy Policy.


7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or create safety risks for others.


8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email.


9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
